Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and CPC-certified Medical Coder with 6 months to 1 year of experience in medical coding. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and coding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze physician documentation for completeness and correctness.
- Maintain coding quality and productivity targets.
- Work closely with healthcare providers and billing teams to resolve coding queries.
- Stay updated with coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- CPC Certification from AAPC (Mandatory).
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Medical Coding.
- Good knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare coding software.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in specialty coding (HCC, E&M, Radiology, Surgery, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Nursing / Allied Health Sciences.
Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) – Mandatory.
Pay: Up to ₹33,000.00 per month
