Job Title: Expert D&T Data Visualization Engineer

Join a global data and analytics team where you will design and deliver enterprise-grade reporting solutions that enable better business decisions across multiple functions. As a Reporting/Data Visualization Expert, you will combine Qlik Sense development, data modeling, visualization design, and business partnership skills to transform complex data into trusted, scalable, and actionable insights, while helping shape the future of analytics at dsm-firmenich.
Your key responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and dashboard solutions using Qlik Sense, leveraging Astrato capabilities where applicable.

Build and maintain robust analytical data models, ETL/load scripts, reusable metrics, dimensions, calculations, and reporting components.

Translate complex business requirements into scalable, user-friendly reporting products that balance performance, usability, and maintainability.

Apply data visualization best practices to create intuitive dashboards that drive business decisions and improve user adoption.

Optimize Qlik scripting, set analysis expressions, and data models to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and data engineers to promote reporting standards, reusable assets, and governed self-service analytics.

You bring:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, including scripting, ETL, data modeling, set analysis, dashboard design, and performance tuning.

Strong experience building enterprise BI solutions with reusable measures, dimensions, calculations, and governed reporting frameworks.

Proven ability to interpret complex business logic and convert requirements into scalable and maintainable analytics solutions.

Experience managing large Qlik applications, including AD group-based access controls and Section Access implementation.

Strong understanding of visualization principles, dashboard usability, and analytics design best practices.

Familiarity with Astrato or similar cloud-native analytics platforms, along with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills. Qlik certifications are an advantage.
