Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Associate to manage day-to-day accounting activities, branch accounts, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Accounts Manager in ensuring timely and efficient accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Record and verify receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, and other financial transactions.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliation, branch reconciliation, customer/member ledger reconciliation, and vendor reconciliation.
- Monitor branch-wise collections, receipts, payments, expenses, and outstanding balances.
- Verify branch accounting entries and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and other financial reports.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate with concerned branch/department for timely resolution.
- Assist in GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting records, schedules, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper maintenance of vouchers, invoices, receipts, payment records, and other financial documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with concerned teams for timely collection.
- Support payroll-related accounting and other finance activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Assist the Accounts Manager in process improvements, internal controls, and other assigned finance-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com / M.Com / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Experience in handling branch accounts and reconciliations will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliation.
- Ability to manage multiple branch-level accounting activities.
- Ability to work within deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Experience in the BFSI / Chit Fund / NBFC / Financial Services sector will be preferred.

Working Hours
9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
