Don Bosco Tech Society is seeking a qualified and experienced Software Developer Trainer to deliver high-quality, industry-oriented training aligned with the Junior Software Developer (SSC/Q0508) job role. The Trainer will be responsible for imparting theoretical knowledge and practical skills in software development, programming, database management, application development, software testing, debugging, and development tools.
The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, along with relevant professional or training experience in software development. The candidate should be capable of delivering practical, hands-on training and mentoring learners to develop the technical competencies required for entry-level software development roles.

Required Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Computer Applications
- Information Systems
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- or any other relevant IT / Software Development discipline.
- Relevant industry certifications in software development, programming, cloud technologies, databases, or related areas will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, software development methodologies, and application development concepts.
- Candidates with relevant certifications or professional training in programming languages, web development, application development, or software engineering will be preferred.
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work and/or training experience in Software Development / IT / Application Development.
- Relevant experience should include practical exposure to software development, programming, coding, application development, testing, debugging, and database concepts.
- Minimum 1 year of training or teaching experience is preferred.
- Candidates with experience as a Software Developer, Junior Software Developer, Application Developer, Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, Programmer, Coding Instructor, Software Development Trainer, or Technical Trainer will be preferred.
- Experience in delivering practical, hands-on technical training to students, freshers, or entry-level learners will be an added advantage.
- Experience in vocational education, skill development, or industry-oriented training programmes will be preferred.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, or PHP.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web development concepts.
- Understanding of front-end and back-end development concepts.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL, including database design and basic CRUD operations.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Understanding of software testing, debugging, error identification, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and commonly used software development tools.
- Ability to develop and demonstrate simple software applications and coding projects.
- Basic understanding of APIs, web services, and application integration.
- Knowledge of responsive web development and basic UI/UX principles will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies will be preferred.
- Awareness of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or modern software development frameworks will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training aligned with the Junior Software Developer (SSC/Q0508) job role.
- Conduct hands-on coding and software development sessions.
- Train learners in programming fundamentals, coding practices, and software development concepts.
- Guide trainees in developing basic software applications and coding projects.
- Conduct practical exercises, assignments, assessments, coding challenges, and project-based learning activities.
- Train learners on software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and error handling.
- Introduce trainees to databases, SQL, version control, and software development tools.
- Monitor and evaluate trainee performance and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, trainee progress reports, and other training documentation.
- Prepare trainees for technical interviews, coding assessments, and entry-level employment opportunities.
- Support placement readiness and industry exposure activities.
- Ensure training delivery meets the required quality standards and applicable organisational or skill development programme requirements.
