About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Selenium Testing Trainer to join our training team in Velachery, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and Selenium WebDriver, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring students, freshers, and working professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and online training sessions on Selenium Automation Testing.
- Teach software testing concepts including:
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Test Planning and Test Case Design
- Defect Management and Bug Tracking
- Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing
- Train students on:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Selenium IDE
- Selenium Grid
- TestNG Framework
- Maven Build Tool
- Page Object Model (POM)
- Data-Driven and Hybrid Frameworks
- Cross-Browser Testing
- Automation Framework Development
- Teach programming fundamentals using Java (preferred) or Python.
- Provide hands-on training through real-time automation projects.
- Conduct assessments, assignments, mock interviews, and project evaluations.
- Guide students in developing automation testing frameworks.
- Assist students with resume preparation, interview skills, and placement readiness.
- Update course materials based on industry trends and testing technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in Java or Python programming.
- Good understanding of Manual Testing concepts.
- Experience with TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
- Knowledge of API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts and deliver engaging training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry experience as a QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or Automation Test Engineer.
- Prior teaching or technical training experience is preferred.
- Certifications in Selenium, Automation Testing, ISTQB, or related technologies are an advantage.
