Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to manage and supervise SS/MS fabrication and tank manufacturing operations. The role involves production planning, monitoring fabrication activities, improving productivity, and ensuring smooth workflow on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily production activities
- Ensure production targets are completed within timelines
- Monitor machine performance and production flow
- Improve production efficiency and reduce downtime
- Minimize material wastage and optimize productivity
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams
- Ensure product quality as per company standards
- Prepare production reports and maintain records
- Troubleshoot production and process-related issues
- Ensure proper utilization of machines and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Train operators and shop-floor workers when required
- Maintain smooth workflow in fabrication operations
- Work towards reducing production costs and improving output
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred
- 4–5 years of experience in SS/MS fabrication or tank manufacturing
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and production management
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle shop-floor operations efficiently
