Job Description Summary
Will be responsible as a SW Test Engineer for multiple applications at Software Testing(SW4/5/6)
Will be responsible for TestCase creation and execution on targeted product HW using MIL-SIL-HIL methods
Analyse and understand the Functional Software Requirements and develop Test Cases for Integration / Functional testing as per V–Cycle
Will be responsible for Technical Peer Reviews of Testspecs and Test executions
Will be responsible for complex Tasks and problem-solving to unblock the Team
Perform manual and automated functional tests on LAB Test Bench with HW and loads using MATLAB Toolchains(Simulink, Simulink Test Manager)
Handle Target Electronic HW day-in and day-out
Test Automation using Python/Matlab frameworks.
Debugging embedded software on target using test bench/ In-circuit emulator
Report status of testing activities to Lead/Manager
Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development and testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations(local as well as international).
Requirements
Must List=
4 to 7 years of strong experience in software testing
Good working knowledge of C, CAPL scripting, and Python scripting
Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Test, MIL/SIL/HIL testing, and Embedded Coder for auto-code generation
Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, function generators, multimeters, and current probes
Good understanding of automotive communication protocols including UART, CAN, LIN, and UDS
Experience with Vector tools such as CANoe, CANape, vFlash, ODX Studio, and VT System (small/full setups)
Experience with automated test equipment frameworks and HIL simulators (PXI, dSPACE, OPAL-RT, Vector VT systems)
Strong knowledge of debugging tools such as Lauterbach, Segger, Trace32, Ozone, J-Flash, or equivalent
Good understanding of test methods, test management, requirement management, configuration, and defect tracking tools (Polarion, Jira, Bitbucket)
Experience with version control systems such as Git, SmartGit, and Sourcetree
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively in geographically distributed Agile teams
