ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) ResponsibilitiesANMs are registered clinical professionals who bridge the gap between doctors and bedside nurses. Their duties usually include:
- Clinical Care: Administering prescribed medications, injections, and IV fluids.
- Vitals & Monitoring: Tracking and recording vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and notifying doctors of abnormalities.
- Maternal & Child Health: Assisting in basic prenatal, natal, and postnatal care, as well as family planning and immunizations.
- Patient Records: Documenting daily medical progress, treatments given, and managing patient charts.
GDA (General Duty Assistant) Responsibilities GDAs are non-clinical healthcare workers who ensure a safe, hygienic environment and provide direct daily comfort to patients. Their duties include:
- Patient Hygiene: Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, mouth care, and changing bed linens.
- Mobility & Safety: Helping patients in and out of bed, assisting them with walking, and safely transporting them to labs or diagnostic centers.
- Feeding & Comfort: Helping patients eat, ensuring they drink enough water, and adjusting beds or pillows for proper body alignment.
- Monitoring & Upkeep: Observing changes in the patient's condition and immediately reporting them to the nursing staff.
- Infection Control: Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment under the supervision of a nurse and maintaining overall ward hygiene
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
