We are a growing café and bakery brand focused on delivering fresh, high-quality baked products and premium beverages. With multiple outlets and expanding production capacity, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Home Baker to join our central kitchen team.
Position Summary
The Home Baker will be responsible for preparing high-quality cakes, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies, and other bakery items
- Handle customized cake orders (birthday, corporate, theme cakes)
- Ensure product consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Manage ingredient measurement and portion control
- Monitor stock of baking ingredients and inform management when required
- Innovate and introduce new baked products
- Support bulk production for café outlets and corporate orders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in baking cakes and desserts (home baker / bakery experience preferred)
- Knowledge of basic frosting, fondant, and cake decoration
- Understanding of oven handling and baking techniques
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and meet order deadlines
Experience
- 1–3 years experience as Home Baker / Bakery Chef preferred
- Talented freshers with strong portfolio or sample work may apply
