Job Summary
Execution & Delivery
Write reliable code: Ship clean, secure, and production-grade backend code for core infrastructure platforms.
Enforce standards: Lead rigorous code reviews and introduce automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, and e2e).
Mitigate tech debt: Identify legacy system risks and systematically propose refactoring paths.
Own observability: Implement tracing, logging, and monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Define technical vision: Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of highly scalable, fault-tolerant Go services.
Optimize systems: Conduct profiling and tuning for CPU, memory, and concurrency bottlenecks.
Design contracts: Shape service-to-service communication via RESTful APIs, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
Manage infrastructure: Architect cloud-native topologies on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Requirements
Experience: 5–10 years in backend software engineering, with at least 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on Go production experience.
Go Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Go runtime, memory management, channels, and core concurrency primitives (goroutines).
Frameworks: Experience with web frameworks like Gin, Echo, or Fiber.
Distributed Systems: Proven success building event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent brokers.
Databases: Advanced knowledge of relational engines (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
Networking & Security: Practical knowledge of HTTP/2, TLS, API Gateways, and token-based authentication (OAuth2, JWT).

Team Mentorship & Collaboration
Guide engineers: Mentor junior and mid-level developers to improve their Go patterns and systems design thinking.
Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps, Security, and Frontend leads to outline project scopes.
Foster agile practices: Lead technical grooming sessions and clear execution roadblocks in a Scrum framework.
