CORE DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES
● Take the handover of the design briefs of new orders from Sales
○ Provide accurate shop drawings for catalogue products
○ Conduct design research and provide strategic inputs to develop custom products
● Create detailed and accurate shop drawings for all orders
● Conduct site visits - measurements and markings, and send timely reports
● Create detailed furniture manuals for select projects
● Support the selection of decorative hardware such as knobs and handles
● Support product reviews and provide inputs for improvements
● Create and update product documentation / support documentation
● Support the proactive research of innovations and technology in the furniture design industry
CORE PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES
● Create full-scale templates for production
● Assist in commissioning, reviewing and finalising product samples
● Assist in commissioning work to vendors across the production line (carpentry, upholstery, polishing and metal work)
● Support in creating and maintaining commissioning protocols
● Timely checking of product frames prior to polishing and upholstery
● Regularly monitor work-in-progress and finished products with close attention to accuracy of design elements
● Provide timely updates on design changes during production through revised drawings and work orders
● Support design-related problem-solving during production
● Provide required design support for site installations
● Support timely resolution of post-delivery snags
SALES & MARKETING SUPPORT
● Conduct product photoshoots & edit images
● Support the ideation and creation of marketing materials
● Support Sales Team for client inspections at the Design Unit
● Provide input for design-related queries from clients
MISCELLANEOUS
● Regularly update organisation tracking systems
● Conduct market research and market visits
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
