Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Business Analyst / Business Development professional with a strong background in project management and experience in using JIRA. As a BA/BD, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management and proficient knowledge of JIRA.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable project plans.
Utilize JIRA to create, track, and manage project tasks, issues, and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination during project execution.
Identify potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to all relevant parties and addressing any roadblocks or concerns.
Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support business development efforts, including proposal writing, client presentations, and lead generation.
Analyze project data and metrics to measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide detailed project documentation, including project plans, reports, and presentations, as required.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new tools or methodologies related to project management and JIRA.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Development professional, or in a similar project management role.
Proficiency in using JIRA for project tracking, issue management, and reporting.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Proven track record of successful project management and delivery.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in business analysis, process improvement, or client relationship management.
Familiarity with other project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
Knowledge of software development processes and software development life cycle (SDLC).
