Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced AWS CloudOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-native infrastructure while supporting both production and non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Package and deploy applications using Helm Charts.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
Implement GitOps deployment practices using Argo CD.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Bash/Shell scripting.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost.
Manage production and non-production environments while ensuring high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and clients to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Maintain technical documentation in Confluence and manage project activities using Jira.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
Ensure security, compliance, and operational best practices across cloud environments.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps practices.
Strong knowledge of Helm Charts.
Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.
Experience with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) and replication strategies.
Knowledge of multi-region AWS architectures.
Experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience supporting critical production environments with strict SLAs.
Exposure to cloud monitoring and observability tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
AWS certifications (Associate/Professional) are an added advantage.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
