About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cylindrical Grinding Operator to set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines for manufacturing precision components as per engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines independently.
- Perform internal and external grinding operations, Minimize rejection and rework.
- Read engineering drawings and maintain required tolerances.
- Perform job setting, wheel setting, dressing, and balancing.
- Inspect components using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and required surface finish.
- Troubleshoot basic grinding and machine issues.
- Follow SOPs, safety, PPE, and 5S practices.
Required Skills
- 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Cylindrical Grinding operations.
- Strong knowledge of internal and external cylindrical grinding.
- Ability to independently perform machine and job setting.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and close tolerances.
- Knowledge of grinding wheels, dressing, balancing, speeds, and feeds.
- Proficiency in precision measuring instruments.
- Experience in precision manufacturing/tool room operations will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
