We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Executive to manage and oversee the human resource functions of a leading supermarket. The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and ensuring smooth manpower management to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for store staff, supervisors, and support departments.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and finalize candidates.
- Ensure timely hiring to maintain adequate manpower in all departments.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Conduct employee induction programs for new hires.
- Ensure proper documentation and employee file management.
- Support employees during their probation period and confirm employment.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Handle employee grievances and maintain healthy workplace relationships.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and welfare initiatives.
- Promote a positive work culture within the organization.
4. Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and shift schedules.
- Coordinate with the accounts/payroll team for accurate salary processing.
- Ensure proper maintenance of HRMIS and attendance systems.
5. Performance Management
- Assist in performance appraisal processes and employee evaluations.
- Support department heads in managing employee performance and development.
6. HR Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
- Maintain statutory records and HR documentation.
- Handle disciplinary actions and ensure adherence to company rules.
7. HR Administration
- Maintain employee database, contracts, and HR reports.
- Prepare monthly HR reports such as manpower reports, attrition reports, and recruitment status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in Retail / Supermarket / FMCG industry.
