We are looking for a Freelance IT Network & CCTV Technician with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to provide networking and CCTV support at our Talegaon, Pune location.
Key Requirement:-
Strong practical knowledge of CCTV installation/troubleshooting and LAN cable networking is mandatory.
Candidates should be comfortable working with LAN cables, RJ45 connectors, crimping, cable testing, CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR, switches, and basic network configuration.
Responsibilities:-
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, and surveillance systems.
- Handle LAN cable installation, termination, crimping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Work with RJ45 connectors, patch panels, network switches, and Ethernet cabling.
- Troubleshoot CCTV connectivity and camera network issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and access points.
- Support LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Perform basic IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot using Ping, Tracert/Traceroute, IPConfig, and NSLookup.
- Identify and resolve cable, port, switch, and connectivity issues.
- Maintain basic network and CCTV documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors/ISP teams when required.
- Escalate complex networking or CCTV issues when necessary.
Required Skills:-
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Networking/CCTV support.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV and LAN cabling – mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of RJ45 crimping and LAN cable testing.
- Knowledge of IP cameras, NVR/DVR, PoE switches, and CCTV networking.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and basic routing/switching.
- Basic knowledge of Cisco/network switches is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Talegaon, Pune.
Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹400.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 per week
