Position: Electrician – Welding Machines Maintenance

Job Summary
The Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of welding machines, including SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), PTW (Portable/Projection/Pressure Welding), and other welding equipment. The role requires ensuring smooth operation of machines and minimizing downtime at project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of SAW, PTW, MIG, MAG, TIG, and Arc welding machines.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs on welding machines and related equipment.
- Install, test, and commission welding machines at project sites.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, switches, cables, and control panels.
- Repair and replace defective electrical parts and wiring.
- Ensure proper functioning of welding machine control circuits and power supply systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts consumption.
- Follow safety procedures and electrical standards while performing maintenance work.
- Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure machine availability.
- Assist in inventory management of electrical spare parts and tools.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in maintenance and repair of welding machines.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of welding equipment.
- Experience with SAW, PTW, MIG, TIG, and Arc welding machines preferred.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, and industrial wiring.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot faults.
- Understanding of welding machine components and operation.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently at project sites.
- Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
