This is a full-time, on-site position for a Fashion Design Faculty at our Kolkata campus. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating and delivering curriculum, mentoring students, and fostering a creative learning environment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting lectures, industry-oriented projects, practical demonstrations, and grading assignments, while staying informed about current trends in the fashion industry to update course content and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Fashion Design, including knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and fashion illustration
- Proficiency in teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and student mentorship
- Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other computer-aided design (CAD) tools
- Experience in creative problem-solving, trend forecasting, and professional networking in the fashion industry
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate in an academic setting
- Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a directly related field is preferred; relevant certifications and professional experience are a plus
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire creativity in students
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
