Job Summary
Kaigo Home Health Care is looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory in Kazhakuttam. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform blood sample collection from walk-in patients at the laboratory and conduct home blood sample collection visits while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate sample handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood sample collection from walk-in patients.
- Visit patients' homes for blood and other diagnostic sample collection.
- Label, handle, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols.
- Maintain proper documentation of collected samples and patient details.
- Ensure accurate patient identification before sample collection.
- Follow infection prevention and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sample collection area.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of samples.
- Monitor and maintain sample collection materials and consumables.
- Provide courteous and professional service to patients during laboratory and home visits.
Eligibility Criteria
- DMLT / B.Sc MLT or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Good venipuncture and sample collection skills.
- Strong communication and patient handling abilities.
- Willingness to travel for home sample collection.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
