Job Summary
GISFY Private Limited is seeking a skilled ArcGIS Developer to join our growing GIS team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise GIS applications and geospatial solutions using ArcGIS technologies. The role requires strong technical expertise in web GIS development, spatial databases, and geospatial data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online.
- Design and build web GIS applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
- Publish and manage map services, feature services, and geoprocessing services.
- Develop GIS automation scripts using Python and ArcPy.
- Perform spatial analysis and geospatial data processing.
- Manage and optimize spatial databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Integrate GIS applications with external systems, APIs, and databases.
- Create web maps, dashboards, and location-based solutions.
- Ensure geospatial data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application and server-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver GIS solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and support system deployments.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online.
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
- Experience with Python scripting and ArcPy.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or other spatial databases.
- Good understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data models, and coordinate systems.
- Experience working with geospatial data formats such as Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, and File Geodatabase.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GeoServer, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with utility, telecom, land management, or infrastructure GIS projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
