About the Role
We are looking for accomplished Mechanical Engineering professionals with substantial industry experience and a passion for teaching. This role is ideal for experienced engineers, managers, plant heads, project leaders, manufacturing professionals, consultants, and technical experts who are interested in transitioning into academia and shaping the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering.
- Incorporate industry practices, case studies, and emerging technologies into teaching.
- Guide students in projects, internships, industry collaborations, and innovation activities.
- Develop course content, laboratory exercises, assessments, and learning materials.
- Support departmental activities, accreditation processes, and curriculum development.
- Encourage research, product development, patents, and industry-sponsored projects.
- Facilitate industry interactions, technical workshops, guest lectures, and skill development programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant specialization.
- Ph.D. preferred (Completed or Pursuing).
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience in Mechanical Engineering-related domains.
- Experience in managerial, leadership, or technical specialist roles.
- Strong technical knowledge and effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in teaching, mentoring, training, or knowledge sharing.
Desired Profile
- Passion for teaching and mentoring engineering students.
- Ability to bridge academic concepts with real-world industrial applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Industry exposure in advanced manufacturing, automation, Industry 4.0, CAD/CAM, robotics, lean manufacturing, or quality systems is desirable.
