Job Summary
Merlis Hotels & Resorts is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Coordinator to support the Finance & Accounts department. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
- Prepare vouchers and maintain accounting records.
- Assist in daily cash, revenue, and expense reconciliation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Candidates with knowledge of Tamil will be preferred.
