Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Networking Technician with hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP-based security and networking systems. The candidate should be capable of independently handling site installations, commissioning, and customer support while maintaining high installation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and configuration of IP CCTV cameras.
Installation and programming of IP phones and IP PBX systems.
Installation and configuration of IP speakers and public address systems.
Configure IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways, DNS, VLANs, and basic network settings.
Install and configure managed and unmanaged PoE switches.
Install and terminate Cat6 and fiber optic cabling.
Configure Wi-Fi access points, routers, and wireless bridges.
Install and commission video door phones and access control systems.
Perform testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of network-related issues.
Maintain proper documentation of IP addressing, network topology, and project handover reports.
Provide onsite service and preventive maintenance to clients.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
Hands-on experience with IP cameras, IP phones, and network devices.
Basic understanding of VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and PoE.
Experience with structured cabling and rack installations.
Ability to read network diagrams and wiring layouts.
Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Willingness to travel across Kerala for installations and service.
