Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete book-keeping and accounting operations including purchase, sales, journal, bank, and cash entries in Tally / ERP.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with statutory timelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance – GST (returns, reconciliation, input credit), TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections follow-up.
- Conduct periodic bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny to ensure accuracy of books.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, and internal auditors; ensure timely closure of audit queries and finalization of accounts.
- Prepare MIS reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and cost/expense reports for management review.
- Monitor project-wise / site-wise costing and profitability in coordination with the project execution team, relevant to system integration projects.
- Ensure accurate payroll-related accounting entries in coordination with the HR department.
- Support in working capital management, fund flow planning, and liaison with banks for CC/OD limits, LCs, and BGs.
- Maintain fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation accounting.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior accounts staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
- Support the leadership team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as required.
- Manage ERP-based accounting operations, coordinate GST audits and assessments, and maintain complete documentation for forex transactions and Letters of Credit (LC) related to import/export dealings.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounts and finance, preferably within manufacturing, system integration, or project-based industries.
- Prior experience of independently handling finalization of accounts and statutory audits.
- Experience working in a small-to-mid-sized organization with hands-on, individual-contributor responsibilities is an advantage.
- CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) qualified candidates will be preferred, though not mandatory.
