Essential Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Nursing in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- Academic Record: At least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s level. A 5% relaxation is applicable for OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
- Registration: Mandatory registration as a Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nursing Council.
- PhD: A PhD in Nursing is highly desirable and increasingly mandated by many institutions (as per INC/UGC norms). Indian Nursing Council +5
Required Experience
- Total Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in nursing.
- Teaching Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience, with a portion of that (often 3 years) required after the M.Sc. degree in a collegiate program.
- Research Experience: Proven track record of research publications in indexed/reputed journals.
