Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Track stock levels, inventory transactions, and inventory movements on a daily basis.
- Monitor inventory consumption patterns and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Conduct physical stock counts and inventory verification exercises at warehouses and storage locations.
- Perform periodic inventory reconciliations between physical stock and ERP records.
- Warehouse visits are mandatory for stock verification and reconciliation activities.
Inventory Analysis & Reporting
- Review and analyze stock excesses, shortages, and inventory variances on a monthly basis.
- Investigate discrepancies and identify root causes of inventory mismatches.
- Prepare inventory aging reports and stock valuation reports for management review.
- Generate inventory MIS reports and provide actionable insights to improve inventory control.
ERP Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Odoo ERP system.
- Ensure inventory data accuracy through regular validations and monthly stock reconciliation exercises.
- Update and maintain master data related to:
- Raw Materials
- Finished Goods
- Inventory Categories
- Item Specifications
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions.
Warehouse Coordination
- Coordinate closely with warehouse teams regarding inventory-related issues and discrepancies.
- Follow up on stock adjustments, damaged inventory, and pending reconciliations.
- Support implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in improving inventory processes to enhance stock visibility and accuracy.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure adherence to company inventory policies and internal control procedures.
- Participate in inventory audits and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen inventory management and reduce stock variances.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain functions.
- Experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, FMCG, or consumer goods industry will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or similar inventory management systems is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and stock reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to warehouse locations for stock verification activities.
