Role and Responsibilities
1. Learning Design & Content Ownership
- Own end‑to‑end content for all retail capability programs across:
- Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Product Knowledge & Storytelling
- Regional & cultural selling nuances
- Selling skills & process adherence
- Design modular, blended learning journeys (classroom, digital, on‑the‑job).
- Create and continuously upgrade:
- Facilitator guides
- Participant workbooks
- Digital content, videos, simulations
- Assessment tools & certifications
- Ensure content alignment with brand, product, marketing and merchandising priorities.
2. Train‑the‑Trainer (TTT) & Trainer Capability
- Design and deliver TTT programs for Regional Trainers.
- Establish trainer certification and re‑certification standards.
- Coach trainers on:
- Facilitation excellence
- Adult learning principles
- Handling premium & luxury customer scenarios
- Conduct periodic trainer audits, shadowing and feedback.
3. Training Deployment & Governance
- Translate the annual capability roadmap into deployable training programs.
- Work with Regional Trainers to ensure:
- Consistency of delivery
- Adherence to training guidelines and quality standards
- Drive effective utilization of LMS / digital platforms.
- Ensure programs are scalable across:
- Company‑owned stores
- Franchisee / Business Associate stores
4. Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with:
- Retail Operations
- Marketing & Merchandising
- HR & Business Associate teams
- International Brands like Luxxotica, Zeiss etc
- Incorporate business feedback into program refreshes.
5. Measurement & Impact
- Define learning effectiveness metrics:
- Knowledge & skill lift
- Certification completion
- Trainer effectiveness
- Business‑linked outcomes (where applicable)
- Analyze data from training reports & LMS dashboards to recommend improvements.
Work Experience
Education
- Post‑Graduation preferred (MBA / equivalent)
- Graduation mandatory
Experience
- 8–12 years with atleast 2 years in eyewear category:
- Retail training / capability / L&D
- Sales & service environments (jewellery / fashion / luxury preferred)
- Strong experience in:
- Instructional design
- Content creation
- Trainer capability building
- Prior experience leading or mentoring trainers is mandatory.
