Key Responsibilities1. Product Checking & Inspection
- Handle entire Material Inward - Outward activity.
- Verify finished brass components as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspection for defects such as scratches, dents, burrs, plating defects, and dimensional issues.
- Ensure only approved products are forwarded for packing.
- Segregate rejected and non-conforming materials.
2. Packing Operations
- Supervise packing activities according to customer packing requirements.
- Ensure correct quantity, product identification, and packaging materials are used.
- Monitor carton packing, polybag packing, export packing, and palletization.
- Prevent product damage during handling and packing.
3. Documentation & Records
- Maintain packing records and dispatch registers.
- Prepare packing lists and quantity verification reports.
- Record rejection, rework, and shortage details.
- Coordinate with stores and dispatch departments for material movement.
4. Team Management
- Allocate work to packing operators and helpers.
- Monitor productivity and packing targets.
- Train workers on packing standards, safety, and quality requirements.
- Maintain discipline and housekeeping in the packing area.
5. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to customer quality requirements.
- Follow ISO, 5S, and company quality procedures.
- Participate in internal quality audits.
- Ensure traceability and identification of packed materials.
6. Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure safe handling of brass parts and packing materials.
- Use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and organized storage of packing materials.
- Follow factory safety rules and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Graduate preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in checking, packing, or dispatch operations in a brass manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of brass components, fittings, electrical parts, or precision-machined products.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, inventory software).
Pay: ₹14,500.00 - ₹17,500.00 per month
