Group of Companies and headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of EM (Effective Microorganisms) Technology in India under an exclusive agreement with EMRO, Japan. The company has established its presence across various states through Channel Marketing, State Government Departments, NGOs, Cooperatives, Corporate and other institutional bodies.
Position Summary
The Finance Head will be responsible for managing the organization's overall Finance and Accounts function, ensuring financial discipline, statutory compliance, accurate accounting, cash-flow management, financial reporting and effective financial planning. The role will also provide strategic financial insights to management for informed business decision-making. Budget preparation and tracking of financial goals would be a key assignment for the role.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounts function of the organization.
· Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial plans, forecasts and cash-flow requirements.
· Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, MIS, management reports and financial analysis.
· Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation and month-end/year-end closing.
· Ensure compliance with applicable taxation, statutory, regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
· Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, banks and other financial institutions.
· Monitor working capital, receivables, payables and overall cash-flow management.
· Establish and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies and internal control systems.
· Review financial performance, identify variances and provide recommendations for improving profitability and cost efficiency.
· Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances.
· Support management in financial planning, business decisions, investment analysis and cost optimization.
· Manage banking operations, fund requirements and relationships with financial institutions.
· Lead, mentor and manage the Finance & Accounts team by setting clear objectives, ensuring accountability, developing team capabilities and maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
· Ensure proper maintenance and safeguarding of financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
· M.Com or Equivalent Degree in Finance, Accounts, Commerce or a related discipline – Mandatory.
· Strong working knowledge of ERP, Tally and other Accounting/Finance software – Mandatory.
· Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Experience & Competencies:
· 10–14 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably with experience in a managerial or leadership role.
· Very strong practical knowledge of ERP, Tally and accounting software.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation and statutory compliance.
· Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong financial planning, budgeting and cash-flow management skills.
· Good understanding of internal controls, audit processes and risk management.
· Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
· High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Preferred Industry Exposure - Candidates with experience in Manufacturing, Agriculture & Agri-inputs, Fertilizer, Organic/Bio-fertilizer, Chemical, Engineering or other process-driven industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
