Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, assisting physicians, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional health and develop nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the treating physician.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, hygiene, and dignity at all times.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for quality patient care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide basic and advanced life support when required.
- Participate in shift handovers, departmental meetings, and continuous professional development programs.
Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council registration.
- BLS/ACLS certification is preferred.
Experience
- Freshers or candidates with 0–3 years of hospital experience.
- Experience in ICU, OT, Emergency, NICU, or General Ward is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹44,644.67 per month
