Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Safety / Occupational Health & Safety related field.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety, compliance, and implementation of EHS standards within the manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for safety audits, training, emergency preparedness, sustainability initiatives, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Implement and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures
✔ Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
✔ Investigate accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions
✔ Conduct EHS training and safety awareness programs
✔ Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 standards
✔ Monitor fire safety systems, lifting tools, machines, and equipment
✔ Support sustainability and carbon footprint reduction initiatives
✔ Maintain legal documents, safety records, and audit documentation
✔ Develop emergency response plans and conduct mock drills
✔ Coordinate with management, contractors, and external agencies on safety matters
Required Skills:
✔ Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industrial safety practices
✔ Experience in manufacturing or industrial plant environment (Mandatory)
✔ Knowledge of OSHA standards, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
✔ Safety auditing, hazard identification, and risk management skills
✔ Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
✔ Certifications like CSP / OHST / ISO Lead Auditor preferred
Working Days:
6 Days Working (2nd Saturday & Sunday Off)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
