Job description:
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production process.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated to meet production goals.
Perform quality checks to ensure that products meet required specifications and quality standards.
Monitor production lines to ensure they are running efficiently.
Adjust machinery settings as needed to optimize production rates and product quality.
Record production data (e.g., quantities, quality checks, downtime) accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
Identify and troubleshoot production issues and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime.
Perform cleaning and lubrication of equipment as required.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Ensure that all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or safety violations to supervisors.
Work closely with other production team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
Assist in training new operators and other production staff as required.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist with inventory tracking and material handling.
Ensure adequate supplies of materials are available to avoid production delays.
