Deputy General Manager – Corporate Affairs Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Policy Advocacy through Industry Associations & Trade Bodies a. Representing Cadila Pharmaceuticals in key associations including CII, IPA, PAFI, ASSOCHAM, FICCI, Invest India, Chemexcil, and Pharmaexcil. b. Engaging in policy shaping, regulatory dialogues, advocacy programs, and industry-level interventions. 2. DCGI (Drugs Controller General of India) – End-to-End Coordination a. Handling complete regulatory liaison and compliance for all submissions, approvals, renewals, amendments, and clarifications with DCGI. 3. NPPA (National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority) – End-to-End Compliance a. Managing price-related regulatory requirements, notifications, ceiling price compliance, representations, and all interactions with NPPA. 4. CBN Gwalior (Central Bureau of Narcotics) a. Managing regulatory permissions, quotas, licensing, and periodic compliance with CBN Gwalior. 5. RCGM – DBT (Review Committee on Genetic Manipulation, Department of Biotechnology) a. Overseeing regulatory submissions, approvals, and compliance related to biotechnology, rDNA products, and genetic manipulation activities. 6. CDL Kasauli (Central Drugs Laboratory) a. Coordinating for testing, certification, product release, and all related regulatory submissions. 7. CDSCO Zonal Offices – Pan India Coordination a. Liaising with all CDSCO zonal and sub-zonal offices for regulatory submissions, inspections, approvals, and routine compliance across India. 8. State FDA – Pan India a. Ensuring compliance, licensing, renewals, inspections, product permissions, and all regulatory interactions with State Food & Drug Administrations. 9. Business Development, Diversification & Expansion – India & International a. Leading initiatives for new business opportunities, diversification projects, and expansion strategies across domestic and international markets (excluding the Veterinary Division). b. Evaluating collaborations, partnerships, and new revenue-generating models aligned with company objectives. 10. Media Relations & External Brand Building a. Strengthening corporate visibility and brand positioning among external stakeholders including media, industry platforms, government bodies and opinion leaders. b. Coordinating communication strategies, press engagements, and reputation-building initiatives. 11. Indrashil University – International Collaboration a. Coordinating global academic and industry collaborations for Indrashil University. b. Supporting partnership development, international tie-ups, and joint program facilitation. 12. Ministry of AYUSH & Allied Councils/Institutes a. Liaising with AYUSH Ministry bodies, AYUSHEXCIL, Ayurvedic associations, and leading institutes such as NIA and Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth. b. Developing business opportunities and new revenue models within the AYUSH ecosystem through Business Development and Business Expansion initiatives. 13. Special Assignments pertains to Udaipur Project : a. Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board – Udaipur b. Stamp & Registration Department, Udaipur & Ajmer c. Department of Fire, Udaipur d. Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited, Udaipur e. Managing strategic and high-priority assignments as directed from time to time, ensuring effective execution and timely delivery.
