About the Role
Vipin Shah and Associates is seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented Senior Project Manager / Project Consultant to oversee the premium technical execution of integrated Civil and Interior works in the Ernakulam district.
We are specifically looking for an institutional leader—ideally a retired or senior professional from Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), CPWD, or Kerala PWD—who brings absolute precision in construction quality, structural finishing, and public sector undertaking (PSU) compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Stewardship: Provide overall technical supervision and quality control for both structural civil works (RCC, masonry, plastering, high-performance waterproofing) and high-end interior fit-outs (false ceilings, specialized glazing, joinery, and architectural finishes).
- Execution & Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to enforce impeccable workmanship, structural integrity, and material approvals.
- Contract & Tender Management: Review BOQs (Bill of Quantities), interpret complex specifications, and guide site teams through stringent execution controls.
- Billing & Documentation: Oversee measurements, certifications, accurate billing, and robust site documentation.
- Mentorship & Liaison: Act as the ultimate technical authority on-site, guiding contractors and junior site engineers while ensuring strict alignment with safety norms and PSU statutory procedures.
Eligibility & Ideal Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 8 to 10+ years of core experience spanning heavy civil execution and detailed interior finishing.
- Preferred Background: Retired or senior practicing engineers from CIAL, CPWD, or State PWD who possess deep operational knowledge of large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
- Technical Savvy: Thorough understanding of PSU tender protocols, strict quality-assurance workflows, and vendor management.
- Location: Based in Cochin/Ernakulam or fully willing to be stationed at the project site.
