Job Description – Machine Operator (Milling / VMC / Profile Cutting / Bandsaw)
Department: Production
Location: Pirangut, Pune
Experience: 1–6 Years
Qualification: ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Milling, VMC, Profile Cutting, and Bandsaw machines.
- Read engineering drawings and set up machines, tools, and fixtures.
- Perform machining/cutting operations as per quality standards.
- Inspect components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and ensure proper housekeeping (5S).
- Maintain production records and achieve daily production targets.
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of machine operations and engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of CNC/VMC operations.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Good problem-solving skills, teamwork, and attention to quality.
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy engineering industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, and safe work practices.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
