About the Internship
Ocean Softwares is looking for enthusiastic and motivated MERN Stack Developer Interns who are eager to gain hands-on experience in full-stack web development. Interns will work on real-time projects under the guidance of experienced developers and gain practical exposure to industry-standard development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).
- Build reusable and maintainable frontend components using React.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and manage MongoDB databases.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, Business Analysts, and QA teams.
- Maintain project documentation and update assigned tasks regularly.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS.
- Basic understanding of React.js and Node.js.
- Familiarity with Express.js and MongoDB.
- Understanding of REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Eligibility
- Final-year students or recent graduates in B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. IT, M.Sc. IT, or related disciplines.
- Passion for full-stack web development.
- Available for a 3 to 6-month internship.
- Willing to work from the Chennai office.
