Position : Executive / Supervisor – Marine Maintenance
Department : Marine Operations & Maintenance
Location : As per project/site requirements
Qualification :
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Candidates from Marine, Logistics, Shipping, shipbuilding or Heavy Equipment Industries with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience :
- 2–5 years of experience in marine maintenance, barge operations, logistics, or related industries.
- Fresh candidates with strong technical aptitude may also be considered for junior positions.
Key Responsibilities :
Marine Maintenance & Operations
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of barges and marine equipment.
- Coordinate docking and undocking activities of barges.
- Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational procedures.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Survey & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate and assist in IRS (Indian Register of Shipping) surveys and inspections.
- Maintain records related to statutory certifications and vessel documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Engineering & Project Support
- Prepare steel quantity calculations and estimates for repair and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment required for maintenance work.
- Monitor and supervise execution of maintenance and repair work at site.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders for timely completion of projects.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.
- Generate MIS reports and presentations for management review.
- Maintain inventory and material consumption records.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of marine equipment, barges, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documents.

Salary range : 30,000 to 35,000 /- per month
Location: Ray Road, Darukhana, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Please note that this role is not limited to barge maintenance alone. As part of our operations, we also manage various equipment such as Electric Stackers, Cranes, Reach Stackers, and other material handling assets. Accordingly, the selected candidate may have the opportunity to gain exposure to and handle the maintenance of these equipment in the future, based on business requirements and operational needs.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
