About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Analyst (QA) to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications by conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and working closely with developers to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web, mobile (Android & iOS), and API-based applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, usability, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback during development.
- Validate UI/UX consistency across different browsers and mobile devices.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, and usability standards.
- Prepare test reports, defect reports, and release sign-off documents.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in manual testing of Web and Mobile Applications.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Good understanding of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking, FinTech, KYC, eKYC, or Financial applications.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
