As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly motivated sales professional to help accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Senior Sales Executive to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth across Venqon's subscription and service offerings.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business through telecalling, lead generation, prospect engagement, product demonstrations, and sales conversions across both the buy-side and sell-side procurement ecosystem.
This role requires a proactive individual who can independently identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and close deals while working closely with the founders and leadership team.
Key Sales Responsibilities
Government Tender Solutions
- Sell Government Tender Subscription Plans to MSMEs, contractors, consultants, OEMs, traders, and service providers.
- Promote Venqon's AI-driven tender alerts and tender intelligence solutions.
- Convert leads into paid subscribers through telecalling, online meetings, and direct sales efforts.
- Educate businesses on GeM, CPPP, PSU, and State Government tender opportunities.
Tender Management Services
- Generate business for end-to-end tender participation and bid management services.
- Engage with prospective clients requiring support in bid preparation, documentation, compliance, and submission.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of tender management projects.
Private RFQ & Supplier Participation Solutions
- Drive subscriptions for private procurement opportunities and RFQ discovery services.
- Engage manufacturers, distributors, traders, service providers, and solution providers seeking business opportunities.
- Help vendors identify relevant procurement opportunities through Venqon.
Buy-Side Procurement Solutions
- Generate leads and sales opportunities among procurement teams, sourcing managers, supply chain heads, and enterprise buyers.

- Online Quotation Collection & Comparison Tools
- Conduct product demonstrations and consultative sales discussions with enterprise customers.
Business Development & Customer Acquisition
- Generate leads through telecalling, databases, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and market research.
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns and follow-up activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
- Convert prospects into paying customers and ensure smooth onboarding.
Sales Operations
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline.
- Track customer interactions and follow-up schedules.
- Prepare sales reports and revenue forecasts.
- Work closely with founders to improve sales strategies and customer acquisition initiatives.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong telecalling and inside sales capabilities.
- Confidence in interacting with business owners, procurement heads, and senior decision-makers.
