ExtraLearn – A Freelance Educational Marketplace by SiteSign, is seeking knowledgeable and passionate Online Mathematics Tutors (Freelance) to provide quality learning support to students across different academic levels. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity for educators, mathematics experts, and professionals dedicated to helping learners strengthen their mathematical understanding, improve problem-solving abilities, and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online mathematics tutoring sessions for students of different grades, levels, and learning backgrounds.
- Teach fundamental and advanced mathematical concepts, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and other relevant topics based on the student’s curriculum and academic requirements.
- Develop personalized lesson plans according to students’ learning needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts using engaging, practical, and interactive teaching methods.
- Assign practice exercises, problem-solving tasks, assessments, and homework to monitor student progress.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their understanding, confidence, and academic performance.
- Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered virtual learning environment.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with students through the ExtraLearn platform.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, training, or online instruction will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, or other educational tools.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods according to different learning styles.
- Relevant teaching certifications, advanced qualifications, or professional experience in mathematics will be an added advantage.
