Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for performing ARC and MIG welding operations on fabrication components and structures according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The role requires safe working practices, accuracy, and the ability to complete jobs within production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ARC and MIG welding on MS, SS, and fabrication materials.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, fitting, and cleaning.
- Ensure proper alignment and fitting before welding.
- Inspect welded joints for strength, quality, and dimensional accuracy.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and related equipment safely.
- Follow company safety rules and use PPE at all times.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Repair fabrication defects and rework when required.
- Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to complete work on time.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow quality standards and production targets.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
