Plumber – Engineering Maintenance Department
Job Summary
The Hotel Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the hotel property. This includes guest rooms, kitchens, restaurants, laundry areas, swimming pools, boilers, and public washrooms. The role ensures uninterrupted water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect hotel plumbing systems regularly to identify leaks, blockages, or maintenance needs.
- Repair faucets, flush systems, pipes, valves, pumps, and water heaters.
- Ensure smooth operation of bathroom fittings in guest rooms and public areas.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance complaints related to plumbing.
- Maintain sewage and drainage systems to avoid blockages and overflows.
- Assist in preventive maintenance programs for plumbing equipment.
- Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance team during renovations or repairs.
- Monitor water pressure and water consumption systems.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and local plumbing regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Keep maintenance records and daily work reports.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Plumbing or related trade certification.
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, commercial building, or facility maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, pipelines, drainage, and sanitary fittings.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and preventive maintenance.

Experience

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
