The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving business volumes for Retail Unsecured Business Loans across assigned Hyderabad territory. This role includes managing a team of Sales Managers (SMs), expanding the DSA network, ensuring high?quality sourcing, and delivering consistent business growth while maintaining portfolio quality.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for unsecured business loans in the retail segment.

Drive lead generation through DSAs, channel partners, and internal references.

Identify and onboard new DSAs; strengthen relationships with existing partners.

Develop and execute area-wise sales strategies to enhance penetration.

Manage a team of Sales Managers (SMs) and ensure productivity through regular reviews and field coaching.

Set clear performance objectives, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions when required.

Conduct daily/weekly meetings to review funnel, lead status, and closures.

Train the team on product knowledge, credit policies, and system processes.

Build strong relationships with DSAs to ensure consistent sourcing.

Monitor DSA performance, payout structures, documentation quality, and TAT adherence.

Conduct periodic visits and engagements for motivation and performance management.

Work closely with credit and operations for file processing, eligibility checks, and quick TAT.

Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and maintain healthy portfolio quality.

Identify and eliminate fraud/negative profiles at the sourcing stage.

Gather competitor insights on pricing, product, and market movements.

Identify new micro-markets, segments, and business opportunities.

Share market feedback with product and leadership teams.

Maintain accurate sales reports, daily activity trackers, DSA performance sheets, and funnel MIS.

Present weekly and monthly performance updates to senior leadership.

Strong knowledge of retail unsecured business loans

Graduate/MBA preferred
