Job Summary
The Project Head – Interior Projects is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of interior fit-out projects. The role involves leading project teams, coordinating with clients, design, production, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Lead multiple residential and commercial interior projects from inception to handover.
- Develop project schedules, milestones, and execution plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project variations and change requests.
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Designers, and Coordinators.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop project team members.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Accounts, and Site Teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Resolve interdepartmental issues affecting project delivery.
- Facilitate smooth execution and workflow management.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure projects are executed within approved cost estimates.
- Review BOQs, vendor quotations, and project costing.
- Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor snag rectification and final project handover.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare project status reports and MIS reports.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Present project performance updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out Projects.
- Experience managing multiple residential and commercial interior projects.
- Proven leadership experience in project execution.
