Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students through the admission process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, be target-oriented, and passionate about helping students choose the right course and career path. The candidate should be able to build strong relationships with students and parents while ensuring a smooth admission experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, eligibility criteria, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable courses/programs.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into admissions.
- Generate and manage leads through various channels.
- Assist students with the application process, documentation, and admission formalities.
- Explain course details, benefits, career opportunities, and institute facilities to students.
- Achieve monthly admission and enrollment targets.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective students until the admission process is completed.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for a smooth admission process.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure student satisfaction.
- Handle student queries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on counselling activities, leads, and conversions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple enquiries and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
