Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Business Development Executive (Jr. BDE) to join our growing team in Pune. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about sales, business development, and client relationship management.
As a Jr. BDE, you will play a key role in generating leads, connecting with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and supporting the sales team in driving business growth. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in B2B sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential clients and introduce the company's products and services.
- Identify, qualify, and generate new business leads through cold calling and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
- Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and convert them into business opportunities.
- Achieve weekly and monthly lead generation and sales targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Freshers are welcome; candidates with up to 1 year of experience in Sales, Business Development, Telecalling, or Customer Support are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Confident in speaking with clients over phone calls.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in outbound calling, lead generation, or business development.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
