Job Description: Test Lead (10+ Years Experience)
We are seeking a seasoned Test Lead with over a decade of experience to bridge the gap between manual precision and automated efficiency. You will be the strategic voice for quality, overseeing a dedicated team of manual testers while architecting and scaling our automation frameworks.
The ideal candidate isn't just a "checker" but a quality advocate who understands that testing is about risk mitigation, business value, and continuous improvement.
### Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Strategy
● Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of manual QA engineers, providing guidance on test case design, exploratory testing, and career development.
● QA Roadmap: Define the long-term vision for quality assurance, including the transition from manual-heavy processes to a balanced, automation-first approach.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, DevOps, and Engineering Leads to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
2. Automation Architecture
● Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
● Scalability: Ensure automation scripts are modular, reusable, and capable of running across various environments (Web, Mobile, API).
● Technical Oversight: Conduct code reviews for automation scripts to ensure best practices and maintainability.
3. Manual Testing Oversight
● Test Planning: Review and approve comprehensive test plans, ensuring 100% requirement traceability.
● Risk Assessment: Identify high-risk areas in the product and prioritize testing efforts accordingly.
● UAT Coordination: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders.
