Role Overview
The Senior Interior Designer at DS Dezigns will lead the end-to-end design development of premium residential projects, translating client aspirations into refined, build-ready interiors.
This role requires strong design sensibility, deep material knowledge, and the ability to work seamlessly with project managers, vendors, and execution teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not just a concept designer.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead concept creation, spatial planning, and detailed interior design for luxury residences
- Develop mood boards, material palettes, finishes, furniture concepts, lighting schemes, and soft furnishings
- Ensure design aligns with DS Dezigns’ aesthetic, quality benchmarks, and budgets
- Present concepts confidently to clients and close design approvals
Technical & Documentation
- Oversee preparation of detailed drawings:
- Layouts, elevations, sections
- Furniture & joinery details
- Lighting, electrical & ceiling coordination
- Ensure drawings are execution-ready and site-friendly
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and vendors for clash-free design
Execution & Site Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers during execution
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is delivered accurately
- Resolve design-related site issues quickly and decisively
- Approve samples, mockups, finishes, fabrics, and prototypes
Vendor & Material Coordination
- Liaise with vendors for furniture, lighting, finishes, wall coverings, and soft furnishings
- Support sourcing of bespoke and high-quality materials
- Collaborate with Pretfab / in-house furnishing teams where required
Client & Team Management
- Act as the primary design contact for assigned clients
- Mentor junior designers and review their work
- Ensure timelines, approvals, and deliverables are met
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in high-end residential interior design
- Strong portfolio of luxury apartments, villas, or builder floors
- Excellent understanding of:
- Materials, finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting
- Indian execution practices and site realities
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- SketchUp / 3D (preferred)
- Photoshop / InDesign for presentations
- Strong communication & client-handling skills
- Ability to balance design ambition with practical execution

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
