MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical) or DME / DEEE / DCE from a reputed institution.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
5–8 years in MEP project execution and site supervision — factories, food-processing units or commercial buildings — including measurement, billing and facility maintenance.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE
The candidate shall have execution / site-supervision experience in any one of the following:
– Electrical systems (HT / LT)
– HVAC & Refrigeration / Cold rooms
– Public Health & Internal Drainage
Preference will be given to candidates with additional exposure to:
– Fire & Life-Safety systems
– Kitchen exhaust & ventilation
– ETP / STP and water treatment
– Food-processing / central-kitchen projects
SOFTWARE & TOOLS
AutoCAD (drawing read & markup), MS Office / Excel, MS Project.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Supervise day-to-day site execution of all MEP works — internal drainage & plumbing, water supply, electrical (HT/LT), kitchen ventilation & exhaust, firefighting, gas / steam and refrigeration / cold rooms — to approved drawings and specifications.
– Coordinate between design consultants, architect, kitchen-equipment vendor and works contractors; resolve site clashes and obtain timely decisions through RFIs.
– Verify execution against drawings and the approved material / make list; ensure non-conforming work is corrected before it proceeds.
– Witness QA/QC checks and mandatory tests (drainage slope & leak, pressure, electrical insulation & earthing, DG / transformer, ETP/STP trials, exhaust balancing, fire systems); maintain and close snag lists.
– Carry out joint measurement; verify contractor RA bills against quantity, drawings and BOQ rates, and certify / recommend invoices for payment within delegated authority.
– Track programme and budget; flag slippage and cost variations early with recommendations.
– Support statutory and certification approvals — FSSAI, ISO, electrical safety, pollution-control consent (ETP/STP), fire and lift.
– Execute civil and MEP works for new and existing retail stores — supervise vendors, hold schedule and budget, and certify their bills.
– Plan and manage preventive & breakdown maintenance and AMC contracts for building and MEP systems once operational; monitor water and energy consumption.
– Maintain site records, progress reports, test records and as-built documentation.
OTHERS
Job requires periodic travel to retail-store locations and vendor / contractor works, within and outside the city.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
