Role Description : This is a full-time, on-site CHP (Coal Handling Plant) Stacker Operator role based in Mancherial. The CHP Stacker Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring stacker machines and related coal handling equipment to ensure continuous and efficient stacking operations. Daily tasks include starting, stopping, and controlling machinery from local panels or control rooms, checking equipment parameters, and ensuring coal is stacked in designated yards as per operational plans. The role involves conducting routine inspections, identifying basic mechanical or operational issues, and reporting abnormalities or breakdowns to maintenance and supervision teams. The operator will also follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards, shift logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate closely with field operators, maintenance staff, and control room personnel.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in operating stacker, reclaimer, conveyor systems, and other coal handling equipment in a power plant or heavy industrial environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to CHP operations, with the ability to identify and report faults or abnormal conditions.
- Strong focus on safety practices, hazard identification, lockout/tagout procedures, and adherence to environmental and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to read and follow operating procedures, maintain accurate shift logs, and communicate clearly with supervisors, control room operators, and maintenance teams.
- Minimum ITI/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter), with prior CHP or power plant experience preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, and to perform physically demanding on-site tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, problem-solving approach, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
